I don't think of myself foremost as a programmer. It is my profession and it is one of biggest pastimes. But it's not how I necessarily want to be remembered.
I like programming because it helps me do other things that I want or need to do. And this is why I like Python: it's a great language for people who are interesting in doing things other than code but need code to do them.
With that said, here's the Python tutorial I started for a friend who knows programming but hasn't done it in a while and was looking to get started with Python.
